What's the difference between the paid and free plan subscriptions? The free plan allows you to use all the features of GigJazz. The only two restrictions are on the number of Concurrent Gigs you can have setup in the planning stage and the number of invitations you can send in a Gig. The free plan allows 3 concurrent gigs. So, if you just have a few gigs per year, the Free plan is perfect. If you have a small business where you are working with clients and find a tool like GigJazz helpful, a paid plan is the next step.

GigJazz seems like it might be complicated. What options do I have to learn how to use it?GigJazz may seem a little overwhelming at first because you are probably not familiar with everything it can do. The easiest way to learn GigJazz is to 1) Try things out with test events and 2) Watch the GigJazz videos. Just remember, GigJazz follows the life cycle of a Gig. In the case of a band or contractor, you book receive an inquiry, you quote it, you send and sign a contract, it becomes a Gig. You manage the details of the Gig during planning and send invitations if you have others performign at the Gig. That's basically it!

What are some super cool features of GigJazz?A few things that make GigJazz interesting and unique. Multi-Event Management 1) Have you ever had to organize an event with multiple locations, dates, times and logistics? In most systems, an event can only have 1 location or date, etc. Sure, there may be a timeline for that event, but what if you have resources like employees that need to know where and when to be somewhere. You might have a Jazz combo for the reception and a DJ for cocktails at one location and different times and then a whole other group for the ceremony at a church. GigJazz allows you to organize this all under one umbrella. In fact, this all starts at the quote. When you quote a package, you outline the events that makeup the overall Gig and the duration for each event and the groups with specialties for each event. You define the dates, groups, and locations for each event. You or your client can specify the exact time starts for each and it will calculate end times. This information all transfers to the contract which in turn creates the Gig with each events upon signing complete with the positions that need to be filled for each group. At any time, this information can be updated as event details are often modified along the way. Invitation Management 2) The second super cool feature is the invitation management module. With invitation management, you can invite employees with certain specialites to accept a position for an individual event within the gig. So, if you have DJs, string musicians, sound engineers, etc. in your Roster, you can invite them all in one place and watch as Accepts or Declines come in to the system. Keep an eye on the invitations and see who has yet to respond, send reminders, or rescind an invitation. If the position is filled, other invitations will not be able to accept the invitation. Preventing double-booking occurrences.
